SPI has worked extensively in the development and refinement of the membrane processes for producing a variety of water qualities. SPI’s expertise in membrane technology goes beyond procuring membrane filtration systems. Our approach to the membrane system design phase is to focus on the operational and maintenance aspects of the system, and to work with owner’s staff during the design process so that the system is delivered as intended
Our design of a complete mechanical system allows a general contractor to install the system. For Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration, we design complete systems including detailed fabrication drawings. Our design approach goes much further than the black box design approach that is typical in the consulting industry.
In addition to this level of design, SPI employs the latest tools including 3-dimensional mechanical process design to minimize conflicts and allow for more thorough coordination. SPI designs use extensive experience to incorporate the required features that will provide the Owner with equipment that is serviceable and reliable.
