The Chino I desalter was constructed in two phases. The first phase included facilities to produce 8 mgd of RO product water
chino i desalter rofrom brackish wells, product blending and 4 mgd of Volatile Organics removal. The expansion added 4 mgd of nitrate removal with Ion Exchange for blending with the RO product water.
Capacity: 16 mgd

Technology: Reverse Osmosis, Ion Exchange

SPI Role:
SPI provided the detailed design of the reverse osmosis system, construction administration, startup services, operations support, control system integration, O&M manual development and training for the RO process.a
