Rayne, Hydro Engineering Solutions, LLC, Separation Processes, Inc., and the University of Arizona received the prestigious AZ Water Association Project Of the Year Award in 2011. The award recognized Rayne of Phoenix for its work on a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Facility for Centralized Water Softening Regeneration. The Project of the Year Award recognizes outstanding engineering excellence and achievement in the water, wastewater, and water reuse categories. Judging of projects is based upon total engineering excellence for innovative application of new or existing techniques, social and economic considerations, complexity of the project and meeting or exceeding the owner
